Andrea Bursten has Argentinean ancestry. She's a widower due to her late husband, Argentinean businessman and writer Federico Ribero. He passed in June 2013. Businessman Federico Ribero was diagnosed as having lung cancer in the month of the month of May in 2011. His condition was deteriorating in the years since and then succumbed to the disease. It's been 10 years in the 10 years since Federico Ribero passed away. In June of 2023, his wife posted a heartfelt statement to commemorate the 10th anniversary the death of her husband.
